Annual 2017 - Chapter II

Chapter II will show you some of my newest creations

 together with some of the first inq28 models I made.

The start to this whole endeavour made the

Darkoath Chieftain, while the Custodes and Neeve Blacktalon 

are the latest additions to my growing collection.

While it's not the group I was advertising this morning

on Facebook, I decided to show these miniatures first.

And no partslist until I find the time to write it!

So just something for eyeballing!

Annual 2017 - Chapter I

This is the first of a series of posts presenting all the finished models
that I converted for the use in Inq28 games in the year 2017.

It was a very productive year and I think it's also the year in which I really started
converting models for the purpose of fielding them in Inq28 Games.

So here you will see ALL my finished Inq28 works so far.
Thanks to the Inquisitorum Group on facebook! You're awesome!

 

All unfinished conversions will be shown at the start of next year, propably firing up
some painting challenge!


First group on show is mainly characters from the Inquisition War novels plus two extra characters
(The shooting was an experiment, hence the mixup of miniatures).

Gor Half-Horn 2nd

Tried to do some WIP pics wuring painting,...
normally really hard cause I fall into a kind of painting stupor...

Tried to take pics of the colours as well and the different stages, sadly there are no details on the chainsword hazard stripes, did that in one go...

I started with priming him black, Stormvermin Fur, Skull White...on top of that a light drybrush with Ulthuan Grey

Applying main colours, thinned with water on  a wet palette....

Several layers depending on how strong the tone should be...

 

Folowed by drybrushing some more....

After that several layers of washes, pigments on the base...

Sometime in between the chainsword....

Finally applying Satin varnish  and antishine to differentiate the materials... and a final very very light drybrush with celestra grey

adding several colours to the pallette on the go....

The awesome community of the Inquisitorium started me up on this conversion...
went a bit beside the road to the FW model.
